After completing his undergraduate studies at St. Xavier's Delhi, Mr. Surana embarked on a path of entrepreneurship. In 1996, he founded Adlec, a prominent electrical switchboard manufacturing company, which quickly became a national leader in Low Voltage (LV) electrical switchboards in India. Under Mr. Surana's leadership, Adlec gained recognition for pioneering advancements in electrical switchboard manufacturing, earning environmental, health, and safety certifications. Adlec is now a crucial part of the global corporation Legrand, with Mr. Surana serving on the Management Board of Legrand India.

In 2018, he founded the Rhine group of companies, aiming to provide end-to-end solutions for the power distribution market. Rhine Group operates across multiple facilities - manufacturing a comprehensive range of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) products.

Beyond corporate endeavors, he's an avid investor in diverse startups, contributes to education for underprivileged children, and leads various environmental initiatives aimed at sustainability.
